In the fall of 1997, I went to see Spoon play a Noisepop show with Archers of Loaf at Bimbo's. Luckily, Britt broke a string on his Alvarez acoustic and the band asked if anyone could help them change it. My hand went up and thus began my friendship with this very exceptional band.
