Tiny Telephone
---------
Tiny Telephone was opened in September of 1997 to provide affordable hi-fi recording to San Francisco's independent music community. Inside you'll find a spacious live room, a game room/lounge (ok, it's only got a tv and a PS2) and, in our control room, the city's most comfortable couch. You'll also find a discrete Neve 5316 and a Studer 827, one of the finest 24-track recorders ever made. We're right in the Mission in a gated, private compound with easy parking. The studio is about 1700 sq. ft., with an isolation room, two rock-solid amp lockers, and a Bob Hodas-tuned control room. Since I am painfully addicted to buying audio gear, the following list will only improve. Tiny Telephone is stridently democratic, we encourage bands from all genres and experience levels to record here. Go to our FAQ to get detailed information about rates, directions and deposit info.

Please email me if you'd like a studio tour, I usually schedule a few every week. Often late morning works best.
